There are three polling places open today until 8 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: one located in the front of Old Cabell Hall, one at Central Place on the Downtown Mall and one at the Fountain at Barracks Road. ![]() Jen Perry says, "Our policy is one person one vote. We have someone attending each of the polling places along with a security guard to assure that there is no tampering. ![]() People will need to show their driver's license [from any state] and we will take down their name and phone number. ![]() Every hour we will be compiling votes from the ballot boxes. Any extra votes by someone will be thrown out." (Jen Perry, Interview, June 20, 2004) You do not actually have to live in the area to vote. Who will survive the Charlottesville vote? In Allentown, Pennsylvania,
there were eight American candidates. In Charlottesville, Virginia, there
were seven. Did James Strock fail to receive enough votes by phone in Allentown?
Was Chrissy Gephardt eliminated before the Allentown, PA round? You do the
math. And make your voice heard.
